How to embrace your tough workouts even when you don't want to?

Hey, what's up, guys, Tanya Zucco here, hope you are having an amazing day. For those of you who don't know me, thank you guys for jumping on with me today. My name is Tanya Zucco. And I help women 40 plus to lose fat ,to master their hormones and optimize their health so they can feel amazing.

So today I wanted to jump on and talk a little bit about "embracing the suck". Obviously, I'm looking all yucky and sweaty post run right now. And you know it as I'm running, I'm thinking, Man, this feels terrible.

And a little bit of a story. You know, I used to race Ironman, as an amateur. But, you know, I was pretty intuitive, very into it. And over the last couple of years, I've gotten out of racing, because I'm busy with business and life and, you know, just had other other goals. And I've been staying fit and other ways.

But anyways, right now, you know, back in the process of getting fit again, so that I can race and one of the things I've caught myself saying a lot over the last few weeks or days is I've been getting back into shape is "man, that feels terrible". And I have to stop myself, right? Because I really do believe that it's all about mindset, anytime that you're trying to go to a new level of fitness or a new level of anything, it's not going to feel like dandelions and rainbows, you know, it's not going to feel fantastic.

And so you know, as I'm embracing, trying to embrace these hard workouts, or they might not even be hard but just moving to a new level of fitness. I'm trying to embrace the new mindset of "Yes, while this might not feel amazing, I'm embracing the suck, I'm embracing how it feels to push myself to a new level". And what I'm envisioning and, and what I what I encourage you guys and my clients to envision as you're doing something new , that might not feel amazing, is envision the transformation.

As you do something sort of hard consistently how you're going to transform and move move to that new level of fitness, whether you're trying to go from just running you know, 30 minutes to an hour, or whether you're trying to go from just walking which is your exercise every day to doing HIIT workouts in order to lose some fat and weight.
